Actress/singer/artist Crystal Hanton was born in Harlem, NY, on June 13, 1988; growing up on Lenox Avenue.After starting out in musical theater as a child, at age 16 she made her film debut as an extra in All Falls Down, Her father, Dennis Hanton, died when she was the age of 6. Crystal began singing and dancing lessons from the age of 14. At 16, Crystal, won her first film role, as Crytstal in her starring in Changes.
